Our Breeds

At Pahadi Bakri Farms, we specialize in rearing three highly reputed and in-demand goat breeds: Pahadi, Sirohi, and Beetal. Each breed is carefully selected, nurtured, and raised to ensure superior health, productivity, and market value.

Pahadi Goats

Native Strength. Natural Adaptability. Pahadi goats are native to the Himalayan region and are known for their hardiness, strong immune system, and ability to thrive in tough climates. They are medium-sized, active, and well-suited for both milk and meat purposes.

Sirohi Goats

High Milk Yield. Fast Growth. Sirohi goats are one of the most popular goat breeds in India, especially valued for their fast weight gain, high milk production, and strong maternal instincts. Originating from Rajasthan, they are well-suited for both dry and moderate climates.

Beetal Goats

Elegant Appearance. Dual Purpose. The Beetal goat, also called the “Punjabi goat”, is a large-sized and dual-purpose breed known for its attractive appearance, high milk yield, and heavy body weight. They are often compared to Jamunapari goats but are more adaptable and efficient.
